Now That’s What I Call Progress

February 18th, 2012 @ 11:57 PM

I invested a good 4-5 hours in Mass Effect 2 this afternoon, and it definitely shows in the progress that I made. Unlike the formula that many of Bioware’s games use, this one is a little different. It means that while I think I’m getting fairly near to the end, I can’t rely on past experiences to know that for sure. Tomorrow may be a little optimistic for completing it, but with one or two good evenings this next week, I can see the end credits being in my sights.

I also had to cheat on Amazon a little today since I was getting tired of some TV season DVDs just sitting around in my cart that were never dropping in price beyond their “standard” discount or whatever. Granted, I needed neither of them, but one is on it’s way to me from Target, and the other I can go pick up from Best Buy tomorrow. Hey, if I’m going to have random impulse buys, $20 DVDs is highly preferable to $200+ phones, tablets, or other electronic things you can think of.
