A One Word Week
If I had to sum up today in a word, it’d have to be “office”. Lots and lots of “office” today. In fact, that’s what tomorrow is like, and that’s also what Wednesday is like. Thursday isn’t all that different either. However, there’s just enough “non-office” each day that I can’t really pull a WFH day on any of them. Curse you, schedule gods.
I did get an awesome Valentine’s Day box from my grandparents today, and that combined with making some initial plans with Jess for him to come up and visit for a few days sometime in the next month or two made the post-“office” (notice the hyphenation and quoting) part of my day much better. I’m not sure how the equivalent of that is going to carry over into future days this week, but I’m not going to complain if it does. Then again, I’d also consider trading it for just less “office” throughout the day if that’s an option as well.
