Told You There Was Work To Be Done
Dallas, 1:50 AM (11/22): So, today was most definitely a work day instead of a vacation day given the number of emails I had to read and respond to. Let there be no doubt in anyone’s mind that these three days were going to be a secret vacation for me. Sure, I’m working from warmer weather and in a place that knows what real rain is like, but the key word there is “working”. The second key word is “warmer” in case you were curious about that as well.
I’m sure the working will continue tomorrow as I fit it around obtaining food from various restaurants. It’s weird being offset for two hours since my lunch doesn’t match up with anyone else’s lunch, and then my dinner is pretty much the middle of the afternoon for them. I guess emails don’t need to be that real time and it isn’t like I put a cap on when I stop responding to them in the evening. Now if there were a two hour delay inserted into all our communications, then than could prove to be slightly problematic.
