Today was another awesome sports day for me. After the Rangers had a walk-off grand slam in the 11th inning to go up 2-0 in the ALCS, the Lions continued their winning streak to go to 5-0 on the season. Two years ago, do you have any idea how weird those two statements would have sounded? In case you even need to take it up a notch, it can also be looked at as the Rangers being two wins away from their second consecutive trip to the World Series, and the Lions being on a 9 game winning streak spanning between seasons. Take those two facts back to 2009 and you could become a very rich individual.
My AmazonFresh delivery this morning went flawlessly, and while I didn’t get any cool delivery bags worth keeping, it’s definitely a service that I can see why people enjoy using. I’ll pay a little more attention to the prices of what I buy at the store and see if it ever makes sense to order again, but I wouldn’t be opposed if that turns out to be the case. Of course, it will never completely replace my three convenient grocery stores for certain items, but no one ever said that was a requirement for it being useful.
