Seattle Needs An Almanac Check

July 17th, 2011 @ 11:57 PM

Let’s get some definitions here, shall we? July: the second month of summer. Summer: the warmest season of the year. Warm: moderately or comfortably hot. Seattle, we’re more than halfway through July. I don’t know what weather you think we’re supposed to be having, but I guarantee you that it is neither Julyish nor summerish in any way, shape, form, or fashion. The past two years I’ve been here, summer has been glorious with sunny days, virtually no rain, and an all around amazing time for weather that makes you wonder what people complain so much about living up here.

Aside from my incredibly awesome Thursday, I have a pretty typical week. I still have to work on ways to fill up my free time in the evenings, but I’m slowly getting back to normal. Today I played OOT 3D, and it’s clear that I haven’t touched it in long enough for it to be a game that might actually take me a decent amount of time to play through. After all, I played it with a guide the first time and then used my memory subsequently, so to an extent, you could argue that I’d have to solve the puzzles for myself for the very first time ever this playthrough.
