Not Everyone Appreciates a 12 Year Wait
I’m not saying Duke Nukem Forever is an awesome game. However, I think quite a bit of the review hate it’s getting is undeserved. It won’t be a GOTY competitor, but at the same time, putting Duke Nukem 3D up on some pedestal and saying how much better it is makes no sense. A lot of the complaints about Forever can apply just as equally to 3D; I guess 12 years of nostalgia can cause you to overlook those comparisons though.
So, while I’m not playing games, I should probably be getting ready for my trip to Dallas on Friday. I don’t really know what there is to get ready though since I’ll be taking even less stuff than I did to LA. Really, if I show up at the airport with anything more than just my backpack, I feel like I’m definitely doing it wrong.
