Getting Closer to Normal
Seattle has had an unusually cold spring, enough to the point where one of the TV stations pointed out on their news broadcast that the temperature today was actually above the average (by a single degree). In a reverse from how the weather has been in the recent past, today was nice, tomorrow should be sunny, and then Friday the temperature might actually reach 70, but then once the weekend hits it head back down to 50s and rainy. If the scales are beginning to tip in favor of more good weather days overall, I guess I can live with the occasional non-optimal weekend.
What was supposed to be a WFH day tomorrow has turned into a day decently full of meetings and then a Rock Band party in the afternoon. At least it wasn’t just a single reason that I had to be at work; with a full slate it’s not like a typical Thursday at all. Funnily enough, I’m actually the one running all of the meetings. Alas, none of them are recurring so my Thursday woes aren’t taken care of permanently, but one week at a time is good enough for now.
