Too Much Technology To Buy
An updated home server. An A/V receiver (with corresponding speakers). A larger screen HDTV. Just a few of the things on my “to buy” list that isn’t getting any smaller. I doubt I’ll be making any of those purchases in the immediate future, but it’s a nice insight into what will be making its way into my possession later on this year. As much as I want a tablet (Android or otherwise), I know all three of those would see infinitely more use and as such are likely to be higher on the list.
I did decide that maybe it was a good idea to go into work today, but it was still pretty light on the meeting load. Tomorrow it gets impressive in the morning, but then post-lunch, we head back to the barren wasteland of calendar emptiness. Thursday is actually interesting for once, but it’s all in a 2.5 hour block in the afternoon rather than nicely spread out throughout the day. With this week though, I’ll take whatever I can get.
