Saved By a Single Word
With the exception of a single title that I’ve reused once on purpose, all but two of my 1875 (now 76) posts have unique, unduplicated titles. When I wrote my title for yesterday, I thought I was being quite clever and original with it. I mean, two people in Portal 2 co-op, each person gets their own set of portals, so it’s double the number that you’d otherwise have! At work today I was thinking about it though, and it felt like I had ripped out the Doublemint marketing campaign before. A quick search revealed that I indeed had back in 2007 with this post, just substituting the word “Portals” with “Power”. The words even start the same, so I was really just saved by mere letters, not even a full word.
Andrew and I finished the co-op mode earlier, and now it’s a pure waiting game of seeing if Valve realizes the ability they have to print as much money as they want. Not that the game itself isn’t basically that already, but they could print even more by releasing DLC. Until such a money printing time occurs, I guess I should spend my time being productive with other games.
