Ready for My Unexpectedly Short Week
Two days of work? I think I can handle that just fine. Sure, I guess the remaining three days are still classified as “work”, but two of them are primarily me sitting on a plane either watching videos on my laptop, listening to my Zune, or reading my Kindle. Not exactly your high pressure deliverables. In a way that’s good since my other two days will have enough of that.
If anyone needs any grilling advice, make sure you have more metal utensils than just a pair of tongs before you start to grill burgers. When you buy two inch thick, half-pound patties from Costco, it can get a little interesting when trying to cook them. You either end up with insanely thick burgers due to the inability to flatten them out, or you have what amounts to ground beef on a bun since the tongs just make the things fall apart. Not exactly a shining moment in cooking expertise, but the job got done.
