It’s Not A Secret To Me
Oh right, I forgot one of the biggest ways that 3D Dot Game Heroes could pass itself off as a Zelda game: the fact that it uses some of the most well known quotes from the original entry in the series in very similar fashions. Basically, it knows exactly what type of game it wants to me, and spares nothing in trying to achieve it. Unfortunately for it’s developers, it falls a little flat in creating a “world” as rich as Zelda does, but I guess I’m happy that I’m able to claim it’s not as good at least in some respects.
I now have a tiny gap in my Wednesday schedule at work, but tomorrow is just as bad calendar-wise at least. The good thing in the latter case though is that many of the hour long meetings I have shouldn’t actually take an entire hour, so there’s some ghost free time that I’ll actually gain. Unfortunately ghost free time doesn’t normally translate into highly productive time, but it’s better than nothing (and is at least a chance for a brief mental break).
