Perhaps the Problem is Passion
On my Start Menu I just noticed Guild Wars there when I went to go launch Writer. Oh yeah, I made a big deal about starting to play that game again, but I kinda failed on actually following through with anything relating to it. Since yesterday my time has all been sucked up by a $2.50 game I got off Steam, and GW + all the expansions cost me something like…$100? Granted, the rate at which I’m going through this Steam game the number of hours of gameplay will be far less, but still, I guess it just goes to show that price in no way is related to how much interest a game will hold in my mind. If you add up how much money I’ve put into WoW since it released six years ago, let’s just hope there is a relationship come next week when Cataclysm releases.
Tomorrow is finally when I get to go claim that I shouldn’t have gotten a ticket for parking in front of my own house, armed with the lease that I have signed which said I actually do live here as well as the parking permits which the city took their sweet time sending us. Of course, tomorrow is just the “pre-hearing” at which point if it isn’t dismissed, I can decide if I actually want to have a formal contested hearing or not. For a $40 ticket, and no requirement on my side but time, I find it humorous that Seattle makes this whole process so complex.
