Free is So Much More Compelling
So even with my Steam purchased, WoW, and as of today Viva Piñata (hey, it was the 99 cent sale on Games for Windows Marketplace today!), what games am I most interested in playing at the moment? Aion which reactivated everyone’s account for free as a holiday special, LotRO which is now a free to play game, and maybe even trying out DDO since I never have before. I mean, it isn’t like I’ve bought almost 20 games in the past week or have a WoW expansion to look forward to on Tuesday; it’s all about the games that don’t require any money from me. At least my attention for the moment is directed away from EVE, although I’m sure that will return before too long.
If you haven’t noticed, this is a fairly early post for me. I contemplated making it a scheduled one, but honestly, even if I was back in time, I wouldn’t probably make any changes. The reason for the early post is that all afternoon there’s a concert I’m going to that one of the local radio stations is hosting with 10 different bands which starts at 4:00, and with less than stellar mobile posting capabilities at the moment with my Focus, an early one was better than the streak ending alternative.
