No Remote Access for Me
So, let’s get this straight, Microsoft. You let us VPN into the network so that we can access internal sites. Cool. You run your little security check so that you’re sure we aren’t giving your viruses and all sorts of other nasty stuff. Awesome. After doing your little scan, you tell us that we don’t have all the required security patches, yet you flat our refuse to automatically install them, and then if I try to do it myself, I get an error because they’re supposed to be managed by you. Uhhhh…how exactly do you want me to get those patches again?
After spending an hour in the tent this morning, my Samsung Focus has been ordered! Next Thursday should be a pretty good day since I not only will get my new phone, but Andrew and I (and others) are going to see HP7 at midnight like we did with 6 last year. This means that I’ll have to find some time this weekend to both reread the book and rewatch the 6th movie, just so I’m completely and totally prepared.
