The mystery of the games have been solved, and they are up here in Seattle. I had my mom check the closet they would have been in down in Dallas (and only the “square” games were there, not the “rectangle” ones), and I then proceeded to brainstorm with her any other place they could potentially be. Well, from that region of my old apartment there was one last box that had my magazines and guides in it, and it wasn’t one I had opened since I had no desire to get to said magazines or guides. Since they weren’t in Dallas and weren’t in any of the boxes I thought they would have been in, that was the only other place they could conceivably be unless they got put into a box that my mom had marked to not even bother opening due to me definitely not needing the (primary) things inside. As it turns out, GBA games love to hang out with old Nintendo Power magazines and game guides. Anyway, they’re added to the inventory and will likely just chill out in my room so that in the event I ever need them again, I don’t have to go on some epic expedition, although then with a larger search radius because there’s no guarantee as to where I’d repack them.
I’ve had some serious DS playing action going on this weekend. After restarting Bowser’s Inside Story (which was a good call on my part also from a gameplay perspective), I’m already around 5 hours in and maybe…halfway done? I’ll put most of my gaming effort into beating it this next week, and then I’ll decide which platform to move onto next. I also started LBP today in parallel, so ideally before too long I’ll have my verdict on it also.
