The Traffic Lights Don’t Help Matters
Even though I had no need to buy it, I bought a game on sale a couple weeks ago from Walmart’s online store, and they have a free “we ship it to our store, you come pick it up” option. In no rush to get the game, I decided to opt for that route. Well, on my way to pick it up today, I was probably about 200 yards from the parking lot waiting on a left turn signal (with quite a few other people mind you). The traffic lights appeared to be working fine in almost every regard except for the fact that we were never being allowed to turn left. Finally the line collectively decided to screw the turn signal and just go ahead and treat it like it was a normal green light. As if Seattle really needed more ways to make me get pissed off at it’s traffic…
That was really my big agenda item for the day, and the rest of my afternoon was taken up with Lost and WoW. From what I remember, I wasn’t hooked on Alias or Fringe right from the first episode either, so the fact I don’t feel the need to watch 5 at a time isn’t worrying me at this point. I’m sure that sooner or later I’ll have it click and get just as attached. If I get to the end of the first season and still feel like that however, then maybe it’s at that point I rethink my time investment.
