Bound to Find a Voice Chat That Works
Andrew and I have been talking online tonight (with voices!), but finding a medium for communication was more difficult than it needed to be. The initial idea had me downloading a program, setting up the server, getting the password from Andrew, connecting, and then experiencing weird minute long delays between when he said stuff and when I heard it. So much for that idea. The backup plan was to use Skype, but then neither of us could connect to each other. Andrew was ready to give up at that point, but I persevered and was finally able to successfully connect. So for the past hour, we’ve been talking on Skype.
Tomorrow…still seems to be pretty boring. It might be good for letting me get planning work done, but who really wants to do that? Of course, I say that now, but in two months I’m just going to be wishing desperately that I had some additional planning time. Unfortunately you can’t save time in this manner, so I better make the most of it now.
