Creating Two Collections Simultaneously

December 1st, 2009 @ 11:54 PM

With the size of my DVD collection, there was no way I was going to hop on the Blu-ray bandwagon since: a) my PS3 was the only Blu-ray player I had, and b) my computer doesn’t have a Blu-ray drive. However, recently there have been quite a few Blu-ray + DVD (+ Digital) copies of movies coming out, in some cases even cheaper than the straight DVD version on Amazon. Anyway, and especially in the latter case, I figured that I might as well get the combo versions so that I could start growing a second collection without having a complete split between the two. There is one pure Blu-ray movie copy that I bought, but that movie was Galaxy Quest, and there was just no way that I couldn’t support my favorite movie out of my entire collection.

For the rest of the week I have lunch meetings related to the project that I’m working on, but outside of that I think my days are fairly open. I would be able to tell you for sure, but Microsoft has decided that no one needs web access to their email this evening, so I actually can’t get in to check. Sure, I could fire up my laptop, but that’s just way too much effort for me to expend on anonymous people who read about my life on the internet.
