A Wrap Until Next Year
Dallas, 11:55 PM: My duties as a Microsoft employee are now done for this trip, and I get to spend the rest of the time focusing on mainly HP related things. Tomorrow I have the football game in Greenville, and Friday I’m driving down to Baylor to visit two of my friends from the baseball team last year (Jess and Crayton). Tonight ended with talk about next year, so hopefully in about 365 days I’ll be making some similar posts about coming down to UTD once again.
The presentations tonight went well, and there were actually many more undergrads that came to the second one than I was expecting based on the relative turnout at the career expo yesterday. It probably helped that we basically went to two undergrad classes and did mini-pitches in them, so that will likely be something that gets carried over to next year also. The only thing that would interrupt my coming again would be if I had too much work on my plate to spend a week traveling, but if it’s at a point where I don’t have a ton of meetings to focus on, then it shouldn’t be much of a problem at all.
