Only a Virtual Fisherman

May 6th, 2009 @ 11:45 PM

So that I wouldn’t get totally burnt out on seeing new content in WoW, I decided to keep playing my main character but instead work on his fishing skill. Yes, I know exactly how that sounds, but it’s true. Actually, the only reason I worked on fishing was to level up my cooking which in turns lets be be more powerful for when I’m beating up on poor, defenseless enemies. See, everything I do has a purpose. Sometimes the purpose can be pretty opaque at first (and arguably even misguided at times), but it’s still there.

Tomorrow my day consists of going to UTD for a couple hours and receiving an A for 50% of my final project grade in my HP class. Don’t worry, I’m not being overly confident; we get the A just for showing up, no test or anything required. So, not only did I have a class where the majority of the work was reading fun books, I also get As without having to take any test. Yep, that was a pretty awesome class to have this semester.
