Not the Code You Show Off to People
I have made nice progress with my DB project today, but it’s not exactly what anyone would call the nicest looking or organized code in the world. Fortunately we were explicitly told that this was not one of the criteria we were being graded on, so my viewpoint is that as long as it works, it’s good code in this case. This project actually has way deeper issues than the quality of our code, so I’ll just be very happy once it’s done.
With the exception of Friday night, this week is purely about school. Two projects due and a test will be consuming the vast majority of my time, but it also means that after each thing, I have less and less to worry about. My last day of classes is a week from Monday, and then during the exam week I have a non-cumulative test, a class to attend that makes up half of our project grade (we get an A for being there), and then the finale is turning in the P2P project at the very end. If this was a race, the home stretch is definitely all that lies between me and the finish line now.
