The Game That Wants to Be a Movie

August 3rd, 2008 @ 10:01 PM

I finally beat my first PS3 game today (R&C Future: Tools of Destruction), and rather than finish out The Matrix trilogy tonight like I was planning on, I’ll likely start on my only other PS3 game. The whole Metal Gear Solid series is known for it’s lengthy cutscenes, and apparently #4 doesn’t back off in the slighest. So, since I don’t want to get caught in the middle of a 90 minute cutscene and miss making a post, I’m writing this and taking my shower before I begin playing it.

One of the things that has been bugging me about WordPress is the fact that while my posts show up with the correct time after I publish them, the “Draft Saved” time on the page that I write them on is always an hour fast. Apparently this is a known bug (which is a good thing) but to my knowledge doesn’t have a fix planned to implemented yet (surprisingly, because it seems like it would be a very trivial fix). Does that mean I want to dive into the code and fix it myself? No, not really; I can wait for an official fix to come out since it really isn’t hurting anything.
