A Lawyer Without Law School
One thing I discovered this afternoon at the CV meeting (not as a part of the meeting, but talking to one of my friends beforehand) is that I can apparently become a lawyer without needing to bother to take the LSAT or even go to law school. Yep, all I have to do is take the bar exam for patent law once I graduate from UTD and I can become a full patent lawyer. I may or may not actually decide to do it, but it’s at least an interesting option to have.
Tomorrow my main goal will be to finish up my game doc for Gaming Narratives, and then after the games on Thursday I’ll focus totally on reviewing for the GRE. Granted, I still expect to have no problem with the math, and the reading probably won’t matter one way or the other, so really the writing prep is the only thing I expect to really gain from it. Hopefully if I ever decide to do some law prep. the review software will actually be designed for a somewhat new OS.
