A View to an End
Tomorrow marks the last day I’ll have an apartment out at UTD, so a potion of the afternoon will be spent moving the rest of the stuff from my room to my house. I’ll probably make that an early afternoon job so that I can make sure to return my keys to the leasing office before they close (although I’m pretty sure if they’re closed I can just drop them into the drop box). The funny part is that as far as I’m concerned, I haven’t had that apartment for the last month or so, so while this is an event that one would think I’d be excited about, it’s all very anticlimactic.
My OCD gets to be put to good use this weekend for one of the assignments in my Japan class. We all have been assigned one of the locations that we’re going to and need to write up a short paper about it including, you guessed it, directions on how to get there from our hotel. I’ve actually been looking for some type of software for my phone that I could install and make use of the GPS chip to help me not get lost, but I haven’t turned up too much yet. Oh well, it’s not like its absolutely necessary or anything, it’d just be something potentially useful to have available.
