We…have…a combat engine!!! Yes, I was finally able to overcome my numerous Flash deficiencies and produce a functional, dynamic combat engine that isn’t solely a scripted encounter. Sure, there’s no AI going on for the enemy, but that’s an easy remedy once the AI gets done. This is a milestone that I should have been at at Half-Alpha, but with the rescoped project, this can now be used as a basis to build our tech demos that we will be showing off. Huge sigh of relief for this, but now I get to temporarily turn my attention to my OS project due in 2 days.

There’s a 80% chance of storms tomorrow, 50% on Wednesday, and 70% on Thursday. By running this through my weather analyzer, I predict that tomorrow’s game has a significant chance of getting delayed. If it does, it might be delayed for quite a while. So, although my current plans are that I will be having a baseball game tomorrow, don’t be too overly surprised if my post tomorrow night reflects a different reality.
