A Level a Day Keeps the Addiction Strong

April 27th, 2008 @ 11:53 PM

I started out the weekend at 64, by the end of yesterday I was at 65, and just a little while ago I hit 66 — talk about progress! Now, I don’t expect to get another full level tomorrow (or Tuesday, or maybe any day this week except for Thursday), but after two months or so of no levels, two in two days comes across as pretty impressive, no? Once I hit 68 I can begin the task of attunement for the first raid dungeon that I’ll be able to participate in, and then hopefully by the time I hit 70, I’ll almost be ready to start doing it. Is it a coincidence that all of this just happens to coincide with the start of summer? Yeah, it actually is, because had it not been for OS and the game project this semester, I’d probably already be at 70.

The baseball banquet is tomorrow at 6:00, so what I’ll most likely do is stay in my Linear Algebra class until 4:30 at the latest (he will be reviewing us for the exam) so that I’ll have time to get home, change, and then get to HP. The food is likely to be a tad more “formal” than the Campisi’s pizza and El Fenix queso from the party a little over a week ago, but as long as it’s not “fancy formal”, I’ll probably like it just fine. It would be a good idea to figure out exactly what to wear though so that I match with the rest of the team; that’ll be a project for tomorrow afternoon right before I leave.
