The Box is Actually Orange
I picked up The Orange Box today, and for those of you curious, the entire box (one of those fat DVD cases) is actually orange plastic. It reminds me of a traffic cone every time I look at it, and seeing as how it’s sitting less than a foot away from my monitor, that tends to be pretty often. One issue that I did have was the hard drive space requirement; seeing as how there are five games in the box, only one of which I had previously, the install wanted about 12-14 GB of space. Normally not a problem, but my Raptor is getting slightly full and only had about 16 GB free. I went ahead and deleted UT 2004 to free up some more room, but even now I’m left with just under 8 GB free. This is definitely something I’ll take into consideration when I start computer shopping next summer.
Tomorrow the game is at 7:00 instead of the typical 7:30, so as soon as I get out of class I plan on getting on my phone and coordinating with Coach Harris on where to meet and what to do. I’m pretty sure that their plan is to leave HP by 2:15 because the team wants to leave at 3:30 which is before I even get out of my class at 3:45. Yeah, I have no idea how tomorrow is going to work, but I bet that the result is going to be that I sleep a bunch tomorrow night.
