Fare Thee Well, Ubuntu
I just finished making my final entry in my Ubuntu Experiment Journal, and once I turn my computer off tonight, the hard drive cable is getting switched over to my Windows drive so that tomorrow morning I’ll be booting into XP. Tomorrow afternoon I’ll probably play the game of updating my files in Windows with all the files I’ve backed up to a temp directory on our file server, and once I’m sure all that data is safe, it’ll probably be a reformat in store for the Ubuntu drive. I still haven’t decided on a home for it yet, so it’ll just stay in my computer until I make that decision.
A week from today I’ll be in Iowa, and high speed internet access in my hotel room plus that fact I’ll be taking my laptop means that the idea of posting from my cell phone will once again most likely be delayed. I promise that my next vlog entry will be soon, but “soon” is probably at least a couple weeks so that I have the time to solve the sound issue that has delayed this second entry to begin with. The idea of how to solve it is in my mind. but the problem lies with getting the computer to agree with that idea.
