25 Minutes From Disaster

July 17th, 2007 @ 11:43 PM

The way my mind makes connections is very interesting. I was thinking about my internship, which led to scheduling, which led to Google Calendar, which led to what I do on the web, which led to my blog…my blog? Did I… My blog!!! What time is it?

I actually went to bed about 20 minutes ago, but I turned my computer back on for the sole purpose of making this post. I was not about to let my streak end at 86 posts (I’m at the point now where I have to bring out a calculator if I want a count), so here’s post 87. An almost forgotten post 87, but “almost” forgotten is just as meaningless as “almost” remembered to make a post.

I think the reason I forgot is that nothing exciting happened today. I read another chapter or two in Half-Blood Prince, watched some TV tonight, but aside from that, my day was pretty typical. Typical not in the way that I was bored out of my mind because nothing interesting happened, but just average without any big surprises (good or bad). Actually, those sound really close to one another. Maybe I really was bored all day and just didn’t realize it (time spent at internship aside)?
