Can You “Feel” It?

September 6th, 2006

Ok, so it’s not exactly the title of the game, but you try making The Rub Rabbits into a title that doesn’t sound extremely weird. Yes, I remember the whole “Going Commando” title, but this is in the same series as Feel the Magic, so the title still works. Kinda…

One more game into the completed closet (yes, there’s a dedicated closet now that’s shared with ripped DVDs), and next up for the DS anyway will likely be Phoenix Wright which recently came from Amazon. Apparently the game is absolutely awesome, and there was a re-issue which has now also completely sold out, so I figured it’d be worth picking up. Even if I don’t like it, it’ll be like one of the Harvest Moon games that is just worth a whole lot of money when no one can find it anymore. That is assuming, of course, I ever sell any of my games before I die (which isn’t too likely).

Almost everyone is in a giant uproar about the “new” Facebook, but I really don’t have any issues with it. It’s a social network site, exactly how much privacy do you expect?? Aside from times, there’s no “new” information that people couldn’t have found out already, and it’s not viewable by anyone that couldn’t already see it. In the past two days I’ve been invited to three groups that aren essentially all “I hate the new Facebook”, so this doesn’t appear to be dying down anytime in the immediate future.

“Ratchet”ing it up a Notch

September 4th, 2006

Ok, so I’m in a mode of somehow hinting at my newly started game in the title. Just be glad I’m not planning on starting a new Katamari game any time soon  :)

Yes, I finished Sly 3 (a couple of days ago actually). No, I didn’t feel like finishing up FFX yet. Therefore, I went ahead and started Ratchet: Deadlocked. It was designed to be a more multiplayer oriented title, and while that’s very obvious from the fast paced objectives and progression, it still manages to feel like a Ratchet game. So in other words, it’s fun.

HP won on Saturday against Waxahachie 59-23 (again, unable to break the 60 barrier). This week will be interesting because there aren’t any away games for me on Thursday, so I may or may not be called up to the stadium to help with one or both of the home games. Then on Friday the game is up in Frisco, so I’m just meeting everyone at the location where we’ll eat (I’ve heard right now that’s probably Chili’s or Pizza Hut).
