Falling Back Into Old Habits
Almost a whole week without an update, and I was doing so well there for a while. Anyway, I haven’t completed anywhere close to the number of games that I wanted to this summer, so the next three weeks I’m going to try to make myself spend more time playing games and trying to work through as many games in my backlog as possible. There are also a whole bunch of games that have either just come out (Killer 7) or are coming out in the next few months (too many to name) that if I don’t beat at least a few more of my current games, my backlog won’t have gone down any over the summer. I figure working through series is probably the best, so my goal is to get at least Metal Gear Solid and .hack done (that’s 6 games), and then if I have the time maybe beat the second Prince of Persia and complete the last level of Kingdom Hearts. Final Fantasy is a lost cause because I’m only in the middle of the second disc on VII, and then I still have VIII, IX, X, and X-2 on PS2 and then all the old school ones released for PS1. If I ever manage to get my backlog down to what could be considered “normal” (2-3 games in progess and maybe 1-2 new games) across all the systems I own (PC excluded), hell will have officially frozen over.
