CPL Summer 2005 Review

July 9th, 2005 @ 10:05 PM

Even though CPL isn’t officially over until tomorrow, I won’t be going back out there, so I can go ahead and make this review post now. It was a fun 4 days, and I’ll consider going again next year but without the room. Even though I spent a great deal of time up there (watched TV at night to take a break from being in front of my computer all day), I think I would enjoy it just as much if I went out there and then came home each night (not to mention it would be a lot cheaper).

For pictures, I’ll direct you to Andrew’s blog (http://andyblog.net/?p=47). I took one of the World Tour sign in the tournament area and then tried to get a shot of the top of the Lone Star atrium at night, but I just never felt compelled to take a whole lot of pictures. Speaking of pictures, it will be even more time before I get the cruise pictures online since the cooling fan in my main desktop decided that Wednesday night (had to being Andrew home for him to repair his computer) was a great time to die. Currently I’m using the Shuttle I built for CPL and will be doing so until my replacement fan arrives from Dell (proprietary part, so unfortunately I couldn’t just go get one at CompUSA).

There will probably be another gap of time between postings since I get my wisdom teeth taken out on Monday. Andrew felt good enough to do stuff by the next day, but who knows how long it will take me.
