We had our last district game tonight against Forney, which needless to say was extremely exciting. Going into this game we already had won our district (9-0), so we wouldn’t have been affected regardless of the outcome of the game. You would think this game would have been a relatively easy win for us, but apparently not. We scored only 2 runs, our lowest score this year (including the games that we’ve lost). At one point we had the bases loaded with only 1 out but were unable to get in any of those runs. I guess all that’s really important is the fact that Forney’s push at the end was too little, too late and allowed us to win 2-1. For the first time in as long as anyone can remember (including the coaches), we went 10-0 in district. I believe this calls for only two words: Go Scots!!

This week marks the end of our regular season in baseball. We’ve played 8 of our 10 district games so far (remaining 2 are on Tuesday @ HP and on Friday @ Forney), and we’re still undefeated with our 7-4 win over Wylie this past Friday. We might already be guaranteed a spot in the first round of playoffs (if not, we definitely will be with a win either Tuesday or Friday), and hopefully our season will continue into the first of June. I also just registered with Flickr, so if I manage to take any pictures (or if other people take some and send them to me), I’ll post them here.

Just finished Going Commando today, so now it’s time to start on the third Ratchet game. Now, I could have made a post similar to what I did with Going Commando and the DS ad campaign, but I felt that with this game, doing something to that nature would be stepping over some invisible boundary that you kinda just know is there. Now, if you want to try to come up with what I might have said in a similar post about this next game, feel free to leave it in my comments, but I think you might be better off just staying far, far away from that subject. The name of the game? Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal.

2 games this past week, both home, both wins. TAKS next week, so I get to sleep in every morning except for Monday, and then we have an away game on Friday (the same day as our prom, which I’m not going to, for the record). 5 weeks of school left, and then summer starts :)

What, don’t you know that “tomorrow” means “this upcoming weekend if I don’t get around to it sooner”? You all really need to go study a dictionary or something….Yeah, ok — I just didn’t feel like taking the little free time I had during the week to update something that probably zero people read anyway. /shrug
For your answer, yes, my last post does have a dual meaning. Back in July of last year I posted about playing Ratchet and Clank and how I was going to start its sequel soon. Well, I didn’t get around to beating the first one until last weekend, so I just on Monday started the second one which is called…*drumroll*….Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando. :)

Yep, this is my big announcement: After almost 9 months of planning for and thinking about it, I finally went commando for the very first time today. I must say that getting to this point wasn’t very easy at all. My initial plans were to have done this back in July of last year, but sometimes you just have to prepare yourself before you take on something like this. Not sure how long I’ll be going commando, but my initial experience was positive, so I figure I’ll continue for the next few weeks.
No, this isn’t an April Fool’s joke — that was 3 days ago. Everything I said above was true, just like all my posts on this blog have been. However, as I’m sure some of you can tell, some of my posts can have dual meanings. Does this one? I’ll give you until tomorrow afternoon to figure that one out…

Big Stadium: Last night we took a break from district play to go out to Ameriquest Field (formerly known as The Ballpark in Arlington) and play Southlake Carroll. Even though our win wasn’t quite so big (5-4, 8 innings), it was still extremely cool to go out there and be down on the field. And I’m not even that big of a baseball fan. Go figure…
Big Problems: Had a DSL technician come out for the 4th time yesterday afternoon (SBC, any idea how close we’re getting to the record?), and I’ve had DSL sync for the majority of the past 30 hours or so. Don’t bother asking me what “DSL sync” is; I just know that’s what I have when the light on my modem is green instead of flashing red :).
Big Announcement: Tomorrow I plan on making an announcement on here (assuming I can get on the internet once I’m home from school). I don’t want to give out any specifics right now, but I will say that this will be something almost 9 months in the making…
