That topic sums up what I’ll be thinking until November 21st, the day I finally get an inkling of free time left. Why? I have been cast in our school’s performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (the Classic Series play this year). So, essentially that means I have football practice Monday-Thursday, game on Friday, and (starting Monday) rehersals for this Monday-Wednesday after football with a few Thursdays thrown in for good measure. Whoever said in the past that my PDA was a waste of money obviously never imagined that my life would become this hectic. Now time to go put in all of the dates/times I have to be places so I won’t forget something.

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow……very interesting and different, although good versions of both of those words (unlike a certain movie that won’t be named). There’s actually very little color in the movie, and the color that is there is very muted and dull. Plot-wise it was entertaining, so it gets put into the “good” column. Next up will be either Mr. 3000 or Resident Evil next weekend.
And for the record, I don’t think I’ll ever completely stop making fun of The Village (the “certain movie” comment if you didn’t make that connection).

16 days? That’s a new record for me, I think. Here’s the summary of the past 16 days of my life in 1 post. Ready?
Our football team is now 3-1 after losing the first game to Denton Ryan (when the whole cow incident took place), winning 49-40 last night in our first true away game of the season. This next week is our open date, so we won’t play again until October 1st. If you’re on my buddy list (due to my privacy settings, you have to be) my profile has our record and all the scores of our games.
Saw Cellular last weekend which was an extremely good suspense movie that isn’t scary at the same time. Today I’m about to go see Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and maybe either Resident Evil: Apocalypse or Mr. 3000 depending on the time. Reviews of those I’d like to say will be posted tomorrow, but who knows when it will happen at my current rate.
And…..that would be about it for what I can think of right now. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be back with more information if I don’t get sidetracked yet again like every other time I’ve thought of doing this. Oh well.

Just…..don’t say it. Yeah, I know it’s not Sunday, but hey, at least I’m posting this story.
At the football game on Saturday, there were a bunch of people in cow costumes since Chick-Fil-A was a sponsor of the game. During each halftime, these people in the costumes would go out onto the field and shoot stuffed cows up into the stands, wave flags, etc. Well, during the first game, the cow people got a little bored waiting to go on so they decided to “play” with us since we were sitting right next to where they went out onto the field. One of them kept poking me with his flag and another kept shaking his pom-poms at Christine, but overall they didn’t do all that much to us. Then, during our halftime we were the only people out on the sidelines, so they decided to have a little more fun with us. First, one sat down on the bench next to us and pretended like nothing strange was going on. Then, two of them started walking around us and herded us together before “attacking” the group of us. While they pushed us together, one of the cows stole Christine’s scissors. Once they let us go, the cow was staring straight at Christine opening and closing the scissors at her. That was kinda funny even though it really freaked her out.
So, that’s the cow story from the football game. We play Rockwall tomorrow night at HP, but there shouldn’t be any cows there. Hopefully.
